| For a long
time, bike helmet technology wasn't very advanced. As long as they
protected your head it was a case of 'job done'. It was like wearing
a wrought-iron bath on your head in terms of size, weight and comfort
but the Etto helmet was The Business circa 1990- big, round, hot and,
where possible, dayglo. If you were really cool you could get stretchy
covers with different designs (thus making them even less airy) or
stick fluffy ears to them like Team Hot Pies. Did I say cool..? |
