| Someone
may still be making white mtb tyres, but the thing about white Onza
Porcupine's was that they were white for a reason. To look cool! Well,
yes, but also to distinguish them from other tyres. They were made
from a rubber compound so soft you could brake and leave a white line
behind you on tarmac, which is pretty cool and extremely grippy but
utterly impractical as they had a life expectancy of about four decent
rides (two if you kept doing the skidding thing). |
